We may share your information with third-party vendors or service providers that assist us in the mortgage process, including but not limited to: underwriting services, loan servicing platforms, appraisal management companies, title companies, escrow agents, credit reporting agencies, fraud prevention services, identity verification services, document processing services, IT and cloud hosting providers, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, email and SMS communication platforms, analytics providers, and marketing service providers.

Lenders, Financial Institutions & Investors

Your information may be shared with our lending partners, correspondent lenders, wholesale lenders, secondary market investors (including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae), and other financial institutions for the purpose of processing, underwriting, funding, purchasing, insuring, or securing your loan, or for quality control and audit purposes.

Legal Compliance & Regulatory Obligations

We may disclose information to regulatory agencies, law enforcement authorities, government entities, courts, or as required by law, including but not limited to compliance with TILA (Regulation Z), RESPA (Regulation X), ECOA (Regulation B), FCRA, HMDA (Regulation C), Bank Secrecy Act / AML, OFAC sanctions screening, Fair Lending Regulations, and any other applicable federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or legal process.

Business Transfers & Corporate Transactions

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, restructuring, sale of all or substantially all of our assets, bankruptcy, or similar corporate transaction, your personal information may be transferred to the successor entity or acquiring party as part of the transaction. You will be notified of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information as required by applicable law.

Protection of Rights & Property

We may disclose your information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (a) protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of our users, employees, or the public; (b) enforce our Terms and Conditions or other agreements; (c) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activities, fraud, or potential threats; or (d) establish, exercise, or defend against legal claims.

Marketing Partners & Lead Aggregators

With your express consent (provided when you submit your information through our website forms or by clicking any "Submit," "Apply Now," "Get Started," or similar button), we may share your information with our marketing partners, lead aggregators, advertising networks, and affiliated entities for the purpose of providing you with information about mortgage products, financial services, and other offers that may be of interest to you. This sharing is conducted in accordance with the GLBA, FCRA, and applicable state laws. You may opt out of this sharing at any time by contacting us as described in Section 6.

GLBA Notice: In accordance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and its implementing regulations (Regulation P), we restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees and third parties who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information. We do not disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.

Non-Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. We will never sell your personal data to advertisers or marketers for their independent commercial use. Any third parties with whom we share information are strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy (e.g., to process loans, service your mortgage, or comply with legal obligations). To the extent that any sharing of data described in this Privacy Policy could be considered a "sale" under applicable law, such sharing is undertaken with your express consent and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Data Retention

We retain your personal and financial information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, or reporting requirements. The specific retention periods vary depending on the type of data and applicable legal obligations:

Loan Application Records: Retained for a minimum of 25 months after final action on the application pursuant to ECOA (Regulation B), and up to 7 years or longer as required by applicable law or investor requirements.
Closed Loan Files: Retained for the life of the loan plus a minimum of 7 years after loan payoff, satisfaction, or foreclosure, in accordance with investor/insurer requirements and applicable statutes of limitation.
Marketing & Inquiry Data: Retained for up to 5 years from your last interaction with us, unless you opt out or request deletion earlier.
Website Usage Data: Retained for up to 26 months from the date of collection, unless otherwise required for legal or security purposes.

When personal information is no longer required for the purposes outlined above, we will securely destroy or de-identify it in accordance with applicable laws and our data destruction policies.

Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Disclosure

In connection with your mortgage application, we may obtain a consumer report (credit report) from one or more consumer reporting agencies. We may also report information about your loan account to consumer reporting agencies. This information may be used for the purposes of evaluating your application, servicing your loan, and as otherwise permitted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

If we take adverse action on your application based in whole or in part on information in a consumer report, we will provide you with an adverse action notice containing the name and contact information of the consumer reporting agency that provided the report, a statement that the agency did not make the decision, and notice of your right to obtain a free copy of the report and to dispute its accuracy.

You have the right to dispute the completeness or accuracy of any information we furnish to consumer reporting agencies by contacting us at the contact information provided in Section 11.

Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information in accordance with applicable laws, although certain information may be retained for legal, compliance, or business purposes as described in our Data Retention section (5A).

Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Governing Terms

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy, the collection, use, disclosure, retention, or protection of your personal information, or any alleged violation of privacy rights — including but not limited to claims under the TCPA, FCRA, GLBA, CCPA, or any other federal or state privacy or consumer protection law — shall be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions set forth in our Terms and Conditions (specifically Section 10 thereof).

This includes, without limitation: all claims related to data breaches, unauthorized access or disclosure, failure to notify, improper data retention, violations of opt-out requests, claims arising under state privacy statutes, and any claim that this Privacy Policy or our practices violate any law, regulation, or industry standard. YOU HEREBY WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING RELATING TO ANY PRIVACY-RELATED CLAIM. YOU FURTHER WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.

Your use of our website and services constitutes your acknowledgment of and agreement to these dispute resolution provisions. Do Not Track Signals
